Chronic

Conditions

Kinetic circuit dysfunction is one of the most significant stressors on the body. When antagonistic muscles activate to create stability, they provide short-term support during acute injury. However, when this engagement becomes chronic, the muscles remain stressed and inflamed, constantly pulling and creating tension throughout the body.

The impact is both physical and mental. Muscle dysfunction leads to systemic inflammation, elevated cortisol levels, and overall fatigue of the mind and body. These changes may develop gradually, but together, they can cause debilitating effects on mental health. The conditions we frequently observe and address as a result of muscle dysfunction include:

Mental:

  • Anxiety/Depression

  • Chronic Fatigue

  • Emotional Instability

  • Migraines/Headaches

  • Insomnia

  • Brain fog/Inability to focus

Physical:

  • Scoliosis

  • Chronic Back Pain

  • Tendonitis/ Tendonosis

  • Obesity/ Overeating

  • Tinnitus

While pain is a common symptom of muscle dysfunction, it is often not the primary one. The body compensates for dysfunction, sometimes in drastic ways, such as the development of spinal scoliosis. Addressing muscle dysfunction is key to alleviating the physical and mental strain it causes.
